Mr. Bellio joined Mercury Marine in 1999 and his current role is Director – Global Product Development, Processes, Systems and Support Services with responsibility for transforming and integrating the company’s people, partners, technology and processes through the creation of an integrated system for the company’s global product development process. Fred has extensive experience in all aspects of engineering and manufacturing systems, as well as, product development process development and project management. Prior to joining Mercury Marine Fred worked for 14 years in the aerospace industry working for Boeing and Bombardier Aerospace. Mr. Bellio graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
Mike Burkett is regarded as the leading expert in product lifecycle management (PLM), having co-authored the first industry publication that defined the market. As the vice president of AMR Research’s Industry Value Chain Strategies team, Mike draws on more than 15 years of experience introducing and supporting products from concept to end-of-life. Over the past eight years at AMR Research, Mike, a Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, has conducted a variety of research on software developments and business issues. He currently focuses on product management and innovation, and specializes in value chain issues that are specific to aerospace and defense companies. Prior to joining AMR Research, Mike worked as a senior manufacturing engineer at The Foxboro Co. Prior to Foxboro, Mike was a motion control applications engineer for EG&G. Mike is a member of the Product Development Management Association (PDMA) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). He has been quoted in numerous trade publications and in Fortune and The Wall Street Journal. Mike holds a BS in manufacturing engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and an MBA from Babson College.
Dr. Michael Grieves splits his time between the business and academic worlds. He is the author of “Product Lifecycle Management: Driving the Next Generation of Lean Thinking” (McGraw-Hill, 2006).He founded and was Co-Director of the Product Lifecycle Management Development Consortium (PLM DC) at University of Michigan’s College of Engineering. He developed and teaches the Product Lifecycle Management Overview course, the first executive-level course on PLM at the university level. Dr Grieves lectures world-wide on PLM and will use his wealth of knowledge to help attendees to adopt progressive manufacturing processes which increase profit and eliminate waste by Integrating PLM and MES.
As a senior research associate, Will McNeill is responsible for researching, analyzing, and writing on business and software trends in service lifecycle management, which includes the broad topics of service discovery, service fulfillment, and service knowledge applications. Within these three groups, Will covers such technologies as contact center, predictive support, remote service monitoring, field service, service parts planning and optimization, repair documentation, and warranty management. Will has also written about the software market around Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Before joining AMR Research, Will was a senior technical writer at Salesnet, Inc. Prior to Salesnet, Will was a technical writer at Forrester Research. Will is also a published author and was an editor for four years at Adams Media Corporation, a business book publisher. Will earned his BS from the University of New Hampshire.
Paul Bevilaqua has spent much of his career developing Vertical Take Off and Landing aircraft. He joined Lockheed Martin as Chief Aeronautical Scientist of the Skunk Works, and played a leading role in creating the Joint Striker Fighter Program. He invented the lift fan propulsion system that made it possible to build a stealthy, supersonic VSTOL aircraft, and led the engineering team that demonstrated the feasibility of building variants of this aircraft for the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. He streamlined the new product development process by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing to engineering and design activities. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, he was Manager of Advanced Programs at Rockwell International. He began his career as a USAF officer assigned to the Aerospace Research Laboratories at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received an Air Force Scientific Achievement Award for his contributions to turbulence theory, AIAA and SAE Aircraft Design Awards, AIAA and AHS VSTOL Awards, and Lockheed Martin AeroStar and NOVA awards. His publications include articles in the Journals of the AIAA and the Royal Aeronautical Society.
Ken Leslie currently holds the position of Director, GIS PLM for Smith&Nephew,Inc. with worldwide responsibilities for PLM & CAE. Smith & Nephew has developed advanced medical devices for healthcare professionals around the world. Our pioneering technologies enable nurses, surgeons and other medical practitioners to provide effective treatment more quickly and economically. Ken has an extensive background in the engineering software tools industry, holding leading roles at Agile Software, Aspect Development and MatrixOne. These positions were in the areas of Operations & Product Management for PLM and CAE solutions.
Hardeep Gulati is vice president of product strategy for Oracle. In this role, he leads the product roadmap and business requirements that define Oracle's Agile Product Lifecycle Management, Oracle Product Hub, and Oracle Sales Configurator. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Gulati was vice president of product development at SpinCircuit Inc., a PLM electronics company founded by Cadence, HP, Flextronics, and Avnet. He also served as the founder and chief technology officer for eBizAutomation Inc., a company that was acquired by SpinCircuit. Early in his career, Mr. Gulati held senior consulting positions at Lucent Technologies and Dun & Bradstreet. Mr. Gulati holds a master's in business administration from Wharton Business School. He also received a bachelor's degree in computer science from the National Institute of Technology in Nagpur, India and a master's in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India.
Gahl Berkooz is a Technical Leader with Ford Motor Company. Gahl is responsible for integration of information across business functions to enable Ford's global transformation. Gahl's responsibility covers the entire scope of Product Creation: Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Order-to-Delivery, and Purchasing. Gahl also leads innovation and benchmarking efforts in product creation tools, methods, and processes, Corporate Information Strategy, and M&A and JV integration. Prior to joining Ford, Gahl was Chief Analyst for Product Lifecycle Management for D. H. Brown Associates. At D. H. Brown, Gahl advised large aerospace companies, automotive suppliers, and others on investments in tools, methods, and processes for product development, and manufacturing. Prior to D. H. Brown, Gahl founded a technology services company which he later sold. Gahl received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.
Benjamin A. Friedman is a research manager in the Product Lifecycle Strategies practice at Manufacturing Insights. Mr. Friedman brings experience in sensor networks, automatic identification technologies (Universal Identification and Radio Frequency Identification), as well as Internet Data Center engineering and operational best practices. Prior to joining Manufacturing Insights, Mr. Friedman developed and deployed RFID solutions for Federal and Commercial interests while working at RSI ID Technologies. In addition to the physical installation of the technology, Mr. Friedman has written and spoken on the topic. Pre-dating RSI ID technologies, Mr. Friedman worked at AT&T. While at AT&T Mr. Friedman was an operations manager associated with the global deployment of AT&T Internet Datacenters. Mr. Friedman holds industry technical certifications from: Zebra Technologies, Printronix Technologies, Symbol Technologies and Alien Technologies. Mr. Friedman’s education includes study at the AT&T Learning Center, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the London Business School.
Philip is a Certified SolidWorks Professional with more than 17 Years experience in Advanced Manufacturing & Automation Tools. Prior to his 8 year tenure with SolidWorks, he was President of a Software Company specializing in advanced automation tools and customized engineering solutions as well as a Manufacturing Engineer at a custom tooling company. Philip holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors from London University.
Eric Sterling is Vice President of Enterprise Portfolio Marketing for Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division, and a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services with 5.5 million licensed seats and 51,000 customers worldwide. Siemens PLM Software’s open enterprise solutions enable a world where organizations and their partners collaborate through Global Innovation Networks to deliver world-class products and services. Sterling is responsible for global product marketing for the Enterprise Portfolio: NX, Teamcenter and Tecnomatix. In this role Sterling and his team help to define product differentiation, demand generation, pricing, enable sales and presales and develop and help execute portfolio launches Prior to his role in enterprise portfolio, Sterling served as vice president of Automotive Industry Marketing and was responsible for delivering the PLM marketing vision and strategies for the automotive region. He was also involved with key industry organizations providing thought leadership on new emerging issues faced by the OEM’s and Suppliers.
Andreas Lindenthal is co-founder and President of Metafore. He is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, overall business development, including marketing and sales, and leading consulting engagement with key clients. Andreas has successfully worked with many small and large companies in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, high-tech/electronics, machinery equipment, and medical device industries to develop product lifecycle management (PLM) strategies and concepts that enable their growth strategies and drive innovation, increase productivity, shorten time-to-market, reduce costs, ensure compliance and improve product quality through the integration and resourceful utilization of appropriate PLM technologies and practices. Andreas is a former executive of UGS Corp., a leading provider of product lifecycle management software, where he was responsible for business development and customer support in Switzerland and the Western region of the United States.

Abram Walton, Ph.D.(c) is a Technology Management Researcher at Purdue University in Industrial Technology and Organizational Leadership. He earned his M.S. in HR and Org Development and Educational Technology and BS in Management Information Systems. He also conducts research and publishes widely on Product Lifecycle Management, Lean Thinking, Human Resource and Organizational Development, Educational Technology, Systems Thinking, International Leadership, and Change Management.
Rob Shinno is responsible globally for Hi-Tech Industry Solutions for ENOVIA, a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, a Paris-based software company. Dassault Systèmes is the world leader in product lifecycle management (PLM) software. As the Global Director for Hi-Tech Strategy & Solutions, Rob has vast interests and knowledge of all areas of PLM, including a focus on Collaborative Mechatronics, Collaborative Enterprise Sourcing, Component Management Strategies, Portfolio/Project Management and Systems Engineering. Since 1999, Mr. Shinno has held a variety of PLM industry roles including Director, Americas Solutions Consulting at Dassault Systèmes. Prior to Dassault Systèmes, Rob has over 18 years of experience in multiple roles and disciplines in bringing Hi-Tech products to market. His experience included cross-functional and management positions with NCR, Alcoa Electronic Packaging, Medtronic and Qualcomm. Rob has a Bachelor of Engineering - cum laude, from Michigan State University, where he was elected to Deans List for four consecutive years. Rob is a frequent speaker at events, tradeshows, and webinars. He has also been published in many global trade journals over the years.
Don Creswell is a co-founder of SmartOrg Inc and leader of the firm's sales and marketing organization. Prior to founding SmartOrg in 2000, he was director of R&D practice development at SDG (Strategic Decisions Group) and general manager of that firm's software unit, SDG Decision Systems. Previous positions included senior management consultant at SRI International, a vice president of Pan Am, and vice president of a high tech division of RCA Corporation.
Thomas Shoemaker is VP of product marketing at PTC. In his current position, Mr. Shoemaker is responsible for the marketing of PTC products and communications about Product Lifecycle Management to customers, industry/financial analysts, and press. Since joining PTC in 1992, Mr. Shoemaker has held various positions in technical pre-sales and R&D. Prior to PTC, Mr. Shoemaker worked as a process engineer for semiconductor test equipment supplier, Teradyne. Mr. Shoemaker attended Babson College, where he earned his master’s of business administration. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Roeder founded DSC 1983 and led the company since then as CEO. Since 1989, he and his team have implemented hundreds of Product Lifecycle Management systems all across Europe and North America. As DSC has focused on providing SAP PLM based solutions for engineers in 1995, Mr. Roeder today is one of most experienced experts in this area. Mr. Roeder graduated from the Technical University Karlsruhe as Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering and teaches Product Data Management at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences since 2005.
Larry Imhoff is the manager of consulting in North America for CIDEON, a global SAP premier partner company, which as part of the "PLM Alliance" specializes in software to integrate CAD design systems to SAP and in related software (file migration to SAP; conversion of files in SAP to neutral, shareable format; enterprise wide output management for files stored in SAP for procurement/manufacturing; and in CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) integration to SAP's Real Estate and Plant Maintenance). Mr. Imhoff has worked for several tier 1 and tier 2 global consulting companies in program/project management roles since 1993, specializing in PLM strategy and operations (SAP, MatrixOne, PTC Windchill), in global product development operations improvement and integration of sales, product management, marketing, engineering and manufacturing/logistics. Prior to that he was an engineering manager at Honeywell and FMC.
